- I've recently had some work done on my house which included reinforcing
- several support beams in the house. I now have 2 sections that have
- exposed 2 x 4's which I would like to cover up. Someone suggested
- buying pine boards (1" thick) and have the ones coming down from the
- ceiling lap over at the bottom, sort of like this:

- I think this looks too boxy, but I really don't have any other ideas.
- I'm trying to sell the house, so I don't want to spend too much on it, but
- I also don't want it to look cheap. I have 1 section that is 9' long,
- 3 1/2" wide and 6" high and 1 section that is 14' long (with 2 2 x4's supportingit in the middle), 3 1/2" wide and 6" high.

- Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
- Thanks
