  19. I am delighted to see the positive work you are doing about Haitii. It gives
  20. me hope that the same knid of effort will be applied to the mushrooming hot
  21. spots in africa.  One of them is Ethiopia.  A group of Ethiopians formed an
  22. active watch group called Ethiopia Watch to address the humanitarian issues
  23. in Ethiopia.  The reasons for the formation of such a group are many. Allow
  24. me to mention two of them.

  26. 1. To address grassroot solutions to the current problems in Ethiopia
  27.  
  28. 2. Since there is an attempt to devide Ethiopia along ethnic and linguistics
  29.   regions, there is a lot of room for abuse of human rights by the interest
  30. groups.  To this end there are already numerous rerports of human rights abuse.

  32. Having said this, this group is just starting to gain momentum.  However the
  33. group believes that there are many important things to learn if one wants to
  34. address humanitarian issues. Therefore it is found necessary to consult
  35. experts or activists in this area.  As much as possible we want to learn from
  36. you. If you want to know about this group. please contact me on or off line.
