- I concur. It is totally useless to teach grammmar for grammar's sake. I
- feel that has been the mistake of the past. It appears to me that what is
- needed is a systematic approach to teaching grammar from the oral and written
- production of the students. I am aware of some research that has been done
- on an approach for teaching correct grammatical spelling in French using the
- student's pwritten productions as a basis for individualized instruction.
- Are you aware of any kind of research of thgis nature that has been done for
- teaching English grammar?
