  11. Hi Philip.  I would agree with you about grammar.  BUT, I honestly believe 
  12. that each student should be put on his or her own grammar program (depending 
  13. on individual need).  I am very pleased with the progres sof my writing 
  14. students now that they are in a process workshop.  I admit that I have found 
  15. it necessary to teach SOME skills in isolation to SOME students -- but I have 
  16. tried to keep it all in the context of the writer's own life and work.  I 
  17. remember tedious drill and practise lessons when I was in junior hgih school.
