- Hi Philip. I would agree with you about grammar. BUT, I honestly believe
- that each student should be put on his or her own grammar program (depending
- on individual need). I am very pleased with the progres sof my writing
- students now that they are in a process workshop. I admit that I have found
- it necessary to teach SOME skills in isolation to SOME students -- but I have
- tried to keep it all in the context of the writer's own life and work. I
- remember tedious drill and practise lessons when I was in junior hgih school.
- I don't have the heart to put my kids through it. Nice talking to you!
