  21. I'm glad it got there and I hope you find all the materials to be 
  22. useful.  Rob Reilly is the files "guru" for K12 Net and I'd suggest 
  23. you contact him concerning how to obtain the library.  Rob does a 
  24. wonderful job of coordinating the distribution of the library 
  25. software.

  27. What is not included in the literature I sent you is how all this 
  28. telecom technology is evolving.  What's happening here is the 
  29. development of a distributed educational network.  We have seven K12 
  30. Net systems in operation in El Paso.  Each system can be customized to 
  31. include special echomail conferences and file support areas.  Also, by 
  32. decentralizing computer operations it causes our campuses to become 
  33. more independent and, I might add, more creative.  We are encouraging 
  34. students to use their campus BBS to do file requests from other 
  35. schools.  Students are able to work collaboratively without regard to 
  36. time and distance constraints.
