- Ken replies:
- I'm glad it got there and I hope you find all the materials to be
- useful. Rob Reilly is the files "guru" for K12 Net and I'd suggest
- you contact him concerning how to obtain the library. Rob does a
- wonderful job of coordinating the distribution of the library
- software.

- What is not included in the literature I sent you is how all this
- telecom technology is evolving. What's happening here is the
- development of a distributed educational network. We have seven K12
- Net systems in operation in El Paso. Each system can be customized to
- include special echomail conferences and file support areas. Also, by
- decentralizing computer operations it causes our campuses to become
- more independent and, I might add, more creative. We are encouraging
- students to use their campus BBS to do file requests from other
- schools. Students are able to work collaboratively without regard to
- time and distance constraints.
