  11. Junior Achievement has a business/education partnership that
  12. focuses on teaching economics.  The HS program is called
  13. Applied Economics, at the middle school it is "Project
  14. Business."  In both instances JA provides books, computer, and
  15. (most importantly) an ongoing classroom relationship with a
  16. business person to assist the students in running a "business"
  17. with stockholders, real money, checking acct. etc.

  19. It takes considerable effort to get business financially behind
  20. JA if it is not already in your locality.  But, it is worth it!
