  16. My idea of perfect sound is perfect reproduction therfore to alter is to 
  17. spoil.  However, I have trouble believing that small things such as bass & 
  18. treble control have enough effect on the sound for anyone to tell the 
  19. difference.

  26. I honestly don't think that price is much of a factor.  I know a doctor 
  27. who spent $30000 on his home system, and I had heard better systems that 
  28. were only about $5000.
