  15.        The people in North America have a longer summer holiday than us when their summer occurs - mid-June to late August. Here in Australia, we are blessed with the fact that our Christmas & New Year coincide with the summer school vacation.

  17.        Most of their term breaks are shorter than ours. The nett effect is that the total of vacations and public holidays is about the same, give or take a dy or two.
