Oh, no!
JO> Sure thing...but First Class cost some $$$$$$ AND requires that

I downloaded the demo of 1.5. It's DiskWare, and you need to buy upgrade disks from SoftArc to get a big BBS going. FirstClass also has a CLUI for those who don't have Macs... In the future, they could put in ANSI into the CLUI...
JO> I have read some negative things in the MacSysop echo regarding the

Oh yeah! Would only be better if we had some Mac LC IIs networked in since my school Mac lab is made of 29 Classics, 6 printers, and one SE/30 as the server. I don't think AppleShare 2.0.2 can go aby higher than 36 people networked at a time, unlike AppleShare 3 where there could be unlimited users...
Then there's TeleFinder, and I think it REQUIRES the GUI, but I can't test that since there are very few TeleFinder BBSs in the USA since it is more expensive than FirstClass I believe. There isn't a TeleFinder BBS in Washington.
JO> Fine for the Mac folks but the IBM users will get a text only
JO> interface (unless
JO> FC has something for Windows????)
SoftArc, I heard, is making one for Windows... I could ask the SoftArc support guy that to confirm it... Nick 8-/
