Hi Shannon, hope you are enjoying your vacation..  We are in the cold winter season here in Massachusetts.  We had a 2 hour delay in the opening of school today because of a sleet storm.  Last week we had one day off from school because of a big snow storm of 12-16 inches of snow and the next day we started school 2 hours late.  It has been very cold here; during the day it is about 20 degrees F. and at night its about 5-10 degrees F.  When school is called off we do have to make the days up at the end of 
  12. the year.  We go to school for 180 days , Sept 5-June 15th.  Would you like to bbs with some of my 6th grade students?  Let me know and I will give you some names.  Have a good rest of the vacation.
