  13.         We are about the same age. I hope you'd like to write
  14. back to me when you read a bit about me.

  16.         I am going into Year 5 of primary school here in
  17. Australia this year. Our school year starts on Tuesday,
  18. February 2. We have four terms of about ten weeks each. I
  19. live less than 100 metres from the school gate. I like maths
  20. and craft and I enjoy most school sports.

  22.         I like soccer a lot. I got a new soccer ball for
  23. Christmas.

  25.         I want to learn to play tennis too.

  29.         I turn ten on March 1st. I have one brother named Tim.
  30. He is eight years old on the 23rd of January. I'd prefer a
  31. sister but Mum and Dad say they have enough kids.

  33.         Your birthday is one day after my dad's. But he's lots
  34. older than us.

  36.         For pets, I have two cats and ten peachfaces. The cats'
  37. names are Misty and harold. Misty is eleven and she's really
  38. sick at the moment. She may die of old age soon. Harold is
  39. good. He is a really funny cat. He's a part Russian Blue. In
  40. case you don't know what peachfaces are, they are small
  41. Australian parrots. They have two shades of green for their
  42. bodies and a sort of pinkish face. They are a tiny bit bigger
  43. than a canary.

  45.         I am blonde and have long, straight hair that goes
  46. halfway down my back. I am 128 centimetres tall. My mass is
  47. right on 26 kilograms at the moment. I am short and weigh less
  48. than most kids in my class.

  50.         My dad is a teacher. My Mum is a bank teller.

  52.         I have my own computer but I prefer to use dad's big
  53. one. It is easier to use on the BBS. Do you have your own?

  55.         When are you moving schools? Is your family moving
  56. house too? We moved from 70 kilometres away to here a seven
  57. years ago. Teachers in this country get moved around every so
  58. often.
