  23. He didn't say that people currently earning a decent living should
  24. leave it.  He just said that they should be satisfied even if they can
  25. not earn a decent living.

  27. Other than that, your argument makes no sense.  Independent
  28. programmers have no more right to earn a living than, say, art
  29. photographers.  I'm sure plenty of art photographers don't want a full
  30. time job other than photography.  But except for a handful of lucky
  31. people, they all have to work on some other job for somebody else.
