  13. I am new to GNU software. Will someone please tell me how
  14. to obtain it and find out what it available and what the
  15. software does. I see discussion about packages but have no
  16. idea what the command/application is supposed to do. If there
  17. is an FAQ, I'm sure that would help quite a bit.
