- Concerning the split screen problem that I posted earlier about, I first
- waned to clarify that I am doing a split-window-horizontally with C-x 5.
- I think that I said this backwards in my previous note.
-
- The other thing that I noticed is that when the screen is split horizontally,
- and I am on the right hand side of the screen, every time I use the mouse
- to position the cursor, the cursor is always one character ahead of where
- the mouse is pointing. This observation is consistent with what I posted
- in my last note....(almost).....When I try to position the cursor at the
- end of the line by pressing a mouse button far to the right of the end of
- the line, then the cursor appears at the beginning of the _next_ line. (I
- thought originally that it was at the beginning of the same line...not so).
-
- My system is an rs/6000 AIX 3.2.....
-
- Sounds like it's probably a problem with elisp, but I don't really want
- to force the time to dig for it if someone know's about the problem.
-
- Thanks
