- I posted a note a few days ago about using some old info stuff that used to
- work under Epoch 3.2 and was directed instead to the tek-epoch-stuff and
- tek-highlight-2.0 packages archived at OSU. I grabbed them and have been
- stumbling around for a couple of days trying to get it to work. I'm about
- ready to blow the whole mess away and revert to plain old Info. I presume
- that if I can't get epoch-ized info to work I will have similar problems
- with other epoch-ized packages, like VM and GNUS.
-
- Before I do that, perhaps someone can get me back on the happy camper path.
- According to the INSTALL file with the tek-highlight-2.0 stuff, I should
- have been able to simply byte-compile the files in that directory and put a
- few requires in my .emacs. I did both of those, but still get undefined
- function error messages for add-zones, clear-buttons, etc. These things are
- all related to Epoch 3.2 vs. 4.x differences. These errors persist even
- though tek-highlight-use-attribute's value is nil (causing a couple fsets in
- tek-style-utils.el to get executed that purport to select for Epoch 4.x - I
- think they are bass-ackwards myself).
-
- What am I doing wrong?
-
- Thx,
