  12. I am trying to install emacs on a 386 running SCO Unix 3.2.2 and have been
  13. getting nothing but trouble.  I downloaded and build GCC which seemed to 
  14. help, but the executable of emacs i got after building it using gcc does 
  15. nothing except sit there and beep at me with some error message.

  17. Is there anybody out there who has had success building emacs on this type of
  18. computer/OS?  If so, please send me info direct via e-mail, as I am not sure    that I will read the newsgroups much.
