  12.    I attempted to install emacs-18.59 on a SUN sparcstation 2 running
  13. sunOS 4.1.3 but I had problems during compilation. After executing
  14. the "make install" script I got the following error:
  15.      cd etc; make  all
  16.      cd src; make  all
  17.      make  -f xmakefile  all
  18.      cc -c -g -Demacs  -fsoft -I/usr/openwin/include  crt0.c
  19.       "/tmp/ccom.017701.1.s", line 147: error: redefinition of symbol "__start"
  20.  
  21. I have changed the config.h file in the $BUILD/src to contain the headers
  22. s-sun3.h and m-sunos4-1.h.

  24. Does anybody know what is the problem and how I can resolve it.
