- Did anyone hack NNTP that you can connect to multiple servers at the same time?
- What I am thinking of is having a primary server that carries the most groups
- and then one or more secondaries from which you'd only read groups that your
- primary doesn't have. The use would be for internal and external news for
- instance. It should be possible to use the nntp-server definition and the
- .newsrc for the primary and then nntp would go through a list of secondaries
- and query only the groups that are in a .newsrc-sec file. If someone has such
- a beast or would be interested to implement it I could provide more information
- on how I'd think this should work (hope the outline above is clear enough).
