  21. The WD7000 & DomainOS software can handle two different types of
  22. ESDI drives on the same controller. You *can* mix the Maxtor
  23. XT8760E and XT4380E drives. This does work.

  31. It is one daisy-chaining control cable and two separate (radial)
  32. data cables, one for each drive.

  45. Depending on how you have the control cable wired, you may want to
  46. have the terminators left in place. For example, if you leave one
  47. disk drive in the system cabinet and have the other one outside,
  48. then it makes the most sense to daisy chain from the internal drive
  49. to the WD7000 controller to the outside drive. In this case it
  50. works better if the drives (one at each end of the control cable)
  51. have the terminators in place. This works quite well.
