  22. Next time you post, please include enough information that someone can
  23. help you without having to derive your configuration from the symptoms
  24. of the problem. Model numbers and OS revision levels at least.

  26. If you are trying to use an Apollo DN series machine then yes, it is
  27. impossible. Although there is a WD7000 disk controller board with
  28. external SCSI port, this board will only drive certain types of tape
  29. drives.

  31. If, on the other hand, by "Apollo" you mean an HP/Apollo 400 series
  32. machine, then you would need Domain/OS 10.4 and a boot prom rev. 2.1
  33. or greater. Of course, I would also question why this was not posted to
  34. comp.sys.hp instead of comp.sys.apollo.

  40. I think you're missing something here. The Apollo was never designed to
  41. be an "open system". That fact is not likely to change just because they
  42. were bought by HP.
