Model numbers and OS revision levels at least. If you are trying to use an Apollo DN series machine then yes, it is impossible. Although there is a WD7000 disk controller board with external SCSI port, this board will only drive certain types of tape drives. If, on the other hand, by "Apollo" you mean an HP/Apollo 400 series machine, then you would need Domain/OS 10.4 and a boot prom rev. 2.1 or greater. That fact is not likely to change just because they were bought by HP. Steve
