  15.   I have now been trying for quite some time to connect a Maxtor
  16. Tahiti 1 magneto-optical disk drive to our Apollos. So far, without
  17. success. All I could do is make scsi_info actually find the drive.
  18. But invol claims "no controller found", and mount says "device busy".
  19. It just seems impossible...

  21.   Yesterday, I plugged the drive into our DEC -- and it worked on
  22. first try (well, almost -- but it is fairly easy). So much for HP's
  23. conception of an "open system"...
