- Considering the wealth of dining experiences shared in this
- group, we could put together a fairly reasonable "Guide to DC dining"
- from within this group. Anyone interested? I suggest that we condense
- comments to one small paragraph for each place. If we agree to a
- format, people could post thier critiques as additions to the guide.
- Every so often someone could post the entire up to date collection as
- it grows.
-
- Example entry:
-
- -----------------
- Joe Schmoes Greaseburger Buffet
- 1116 Podunk Ave. Silver Spring.
- North on New Hampshire, left on Podunk; 2blks, lhs.
- American Diner Cuisine.
- Very Casual Dress.
- 6am-9pm M-F; 8am-4pm Sat,Sun.
- $3-$7/plate.
-
- Joe's has exceptional service but the food tends to be rather greasy.
- They have a nice selection of sauces (tabasco, A-1, Worcheshire),
- but charge $.20 a slice for american cheese. Items you should try
- include the Wombat Burger, and the Hill Billy Hash. Avoid, the Barf
- Burger.
