- Since most (all?) X fonts don't have a tab character (0x09), does this mean
- that it is impossible to get the functionality of a tab character in a Motif
- compound string?
-
- My need is in a List widget with a simple list of items that I want to tag
- with, say, A, B, C, etc. I.e.,
-
- A item 1
- B item 2
- C item 3
-
- This looks nice with spaces because you are probably using a monospaced
- font in your news viewer. Would look cruddy with a proportional font.
-
- If I want to use a proportional font in my List widget, then I would need
- a tab character to line up the second column nicely.
-
- Is this possible?
