- When running Xmono on this laptop, which has an inbuilt VGA which will
- run either the LCD screen or an external VGA (but not both), I get a
- problem with mess over the screen. There are sharp vertical lines
- covering the top two thirds of the screen and some unintelligible blurred
- horizontal lines across the top of the screen. Behind this mess the
- X window system works perfectly.
-
- It could be some sort of video memory conflict problem. That's my guess.
- Any suggestions? I might try and borrow a ET4000 video card and put
- it in the base unit, and see if I can get the color server running,
