- I run X remotely using Linux and XFree (X8514 in my case). The response
- is very good over all. My guess is that the botleneck you are experiencing
- is either software (what X server are you using?), or your network. I
- suspect software, as I can run light X stuff (emacs, etc.--not xdvi!) with
- reasonable performance over a modem.
