- I just finished building the mit source distribution for X11 R5 (with the
- XFree86-1.1 patches) for linux 0.99pl4. I included all the MIT extensions
- including PEX. The build went fine (lots of warnings, but no errors), and
- the server works, but none of the PEX samples work. They just start spitting
- out lots of error messages of the form:
- PHIGS error -50 in OPEN PHIGS: Communication error
- PHIGS error -1 in OPEN PHIGS: Ignoring function, cannot open PHIGS, cannot
- create communication channel
- PHIGS error 2 in OPEN WORKSTATION: Ignoring function, function requires state
- (PHOP,*,*,*)
- and so on...
- Is there something I have to do to make this work? I have TCP compiled into
- the kernel, but do not have an Ethernet card (I set the TCP stuff to yes in
- site.def). How does PEX communicate with the rest of X? Any information
- which may lead to a solution would be greatly appreciated.
