  14. Hello All!

  16. I'm new to the group, so take it easy if I happen to ask some FAQ.
  17. I installed Linux 0.99pl2 and X11 this weekend. I tried to configure the Xconfig
  18. file without too much luck. I have a 386/40, 8MB ram, ATI VGA Wonder+ card with
  19. 1MB installed and a mouse attached to the ATI card. The monitor I am using is a 
  20. NEC 2A that can support to a maximum 800x600. If anyone can point me to a help
  21. source ie, FAQ, another ATI user, or simply talk me through this I would be
  22. very grateful.

  24. When Linux boots it tells me I have a Logitec Bus mouse - is this correct? I 
  25. thought the ATI mouse is Microsoft compatible. Also I'm not sure what clocks,
  26. rez stuff I should be using. I have tried both colour and mono Xconfig files -
  27. no luck. I can post the screen I get with the error message if it would be 
  28. helpful.
