- I would complain (loudly!) at your OS vendor. I run Microport's SVR4, using
- their Motif, and XFree86 for everything else. XFree86 is developed on
- SVR4, using mwm. I use X.desktop with XFree86 (actually, my wife does).
- I've built dozens of freeware Motif packages. Never had the slightest
- problem.

- It's not XFree86. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one using Motif with
- XFree86 on SVR4, with no problems. Given the reputation of your OS vendor,
- I'd look there first.
