  13. I'm frustrated.  I've read and reread the xterm man page on my Sun 4.1.3
  14. system (we run OpenWindows 3) trying to figure out what to do about the
  15. key mappings.  I'm looking for VT100 keys PF1, PF2, PF3 and especially
  16. PF4 (to use with the VMS EVE editor).  I'm pretty sure the default
  17. key mapping doesn't have these defined.

  19. So, I thought I'd define them.  But I've run into a confusion because
  20. I don't know what, excatly, a "resource" is or how to set the X toolkit
  21. keymap() resource.  Probably, for this group, this is a trivial question,
  22. but could someone, offline, send me mail and tell me how to do this
  23. with xterm on a Sun?  I played with .Xdefaults and the example in
  24. the xterm man page to no avail.  Is this where I start?
