  16. impression after reading the chapter on Xcms in that book.

  24. up to snuff yet and none of our editors have time to work

  32. Xcms is in R5 - it is part of Xlib.  It is now part of Core X.
  33. The chapter (13 pages) on it in the R5 
  34. update and in Vol 1 should be sufficient to understand and use it, 
  35. they just do not go into all the colorimetry.  If they don't say
  36. enough, please let me know what it is they don't say.

  38. If you need to learn 
  39. about the color spaces, go to a technical library and you should
  40. be able to find out about them.

  42. Also, the R5 update has manpages for most of the Xcms functions
  43. (some obscure ones are omitted).  Vol 2 has them all.
