  15. I need a lesson on how shared object libraries work.  After upgrading
  16. to SunOS 4.1.3, I cannot run X because I get the following error:

  18. ld.so: libXmu.so.4 not found.

  20. The only thing that bothers me is that libXmu.so.4.0 exists in
  21. /usr/local/X11/lib, and I thought that it would use it as long as
  22. that major revision number is the same.  HELP!  I've tried fooling
  23. it with links from /usr/lib to the X11 lib directory but no dice.  I read
  24. in the manpage that it records the library revision numbers and is
  25. real picky about whether or not it will run.
