- I am new to X-windows and have run into quite a problem.
- From talking to some other users familiar with X-windoews,
- this problem is not commonly run into.
- I would appreciate it if somebody could help me out.
- In short, the problem is:
-
- What I want to do is this:
- I want to simultaneously employ different fonts and
- font colors within the same X-window.
-
- My Computer is an Silicon Graphics Iris 4D-120.
-
- How I am trying to do this.
- 1.) I am running xwsh
- 2.) I have no trouble getting a "normal" font and
- fontcolor with the -fn and -fg options, respectively.
-
- 3.) I can specify a bold font and an
- italic font with the -boldfont and -italicfont options,
- respectively.
-
- 4.) According to the writeup in the man pages for xwsh,
- I should be able to toggle back and forth between these
- fonts via appropiate ansi escape sequences. This I have
- NOT been able to do. I am completely baffled.
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated.
