- Hello,
-
- I have tried to convert some X11R4 fonts from snf-format to rtx-format to
- use them on an IBM RT running AIX 2.2.1 and X11R3. I have used ``snftortx''
- to convert them to rtx-format and have used ``fixrtx -h'' afterwards to
- avoid scaling problems. This process has not given any errors.
-
- The thus created fonts are usable on the RT, but only the top half of the
- characters is visible. Moreover, it seems that the black pixels which
- compose a character are alternated with white pixels. The letter
- ``C'', for instance, looks as follows:
-
-
- # # # # #
-
- # #
-
- #
-
-
- Does anybody know what is going on? For your information, the X11R4 fonts
- are retrieved from a Sun3.
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
- Johan Thole.
