- Hi,
-
- I am looking for X11 source code for a utility which will take
- the name of a window on another display, and then display
- a copy of it on another display.
-
- I have compiled and ran an X11 utility called xwatchwin
- (and xwatchwin2) that almost does this. It fails when
- the original window gets resized or iconified, and
- runs by grabbing an image of the entire window.
-
- I may have to write it, but it would be useful for such
- a program to force a complete repaint of the original
- window, then catch these X11 events paint the copy.
- (at least to start with). This may not be possible, though.
-
- I'd appreciate any information on programs that already
- do this kind of thing. Thanks,
-
- -Randy
