- I've just set up an NCD X-terminal, after it boots up I get the normal
- login screen, where I type my username and password. Now, the problem
- is that we use password aging (the system is a Sun running SunOS 4.1.1
- and X11R4, by the way), and after I type in my password I get 'login
- incorrect'. If I remove the password aging stuff from my entry in the
- password file, I can login just fine. I assume it is because NCDs version
- of 'xdm' doesn't understand password aging. What can I do about this? Is
- 'xdm' supposed to know about password aging? Does anyone have a version
- which *does* support password aging? Do I get and hack the source myself,
- or should I simply get on the blower to NCD? Any feedback (which doesn't
- say 'forget about using password aging...) will be most welcome.
