- Hi yall..
-
- I have on my network a Sun IPC running OpenWindows 3.1, as distributed
- with Solaris 2.1, but the problem has persisted from 2.0 as well.
-
- I run xdm on the ipc to drive a handful of X terminals (of mixed breeds),
- but currently the xdm is set up to spit out a login window to the X server,
- rather than the Xserver requesting it via xdmcp.
-
- I have a few programs that support xdmcp requests, but when I run them,
- the host (named jupiter, the ipc running xdmcp) does't respond.
-
- Is there some magic twiddle I can make to make the xdm available for
- xdmcp requests?
-
- Tanx loads... (um, e-mail is best, news is hard to keep up with. I
- will summarize)
