  14. I have on my network a Sun IPC running OpenWindows 3.1, as distributed
  15. with Solaris 2.1, but the problem has persisted from 2.0 as well.

  17. I run xdm on the ipc to drive a handful of X terminals (of mixed breeds),
  18. but currently the xdm is set up to spit out a login window to the X server,
  19. rather than the Xserver requesting it via xdmcp.

  21. I have a few programs that support xdmcp requests, but when I run them,
  22. the host (named jupiter, the ipc running xdmcp) does't respond.

  24. Is there some magic twiddle I can make to make the xdm available for 
  25. xdmcp requests?
