  11. Hi all,
  12.     I've got X11R4 running on a Sun 3/260.  I can run X from the
  13. command line with 'startx' or 'xinit', but I can't get xdm to work
  14. from /etc/rc.local or the command line.  I ran it several times with
  15. the -debug option, and it runs through the list of things in xdm-config,
  16. then says "WaitForSomething" and just hangs.  I created all the necessary
  17. files (I think) according to the X Window System User's Guide from O'Reilly.
  18. Still no go.  I checked the FAQ, and I don't see anything about this in
  19. it.

  21. Any ideas?  Please reply via email.  I'll post a summary if there is 
  22. enough interest.  With my luck, it's a FAQ somewhere and I'm going to 
  23. catch some flamage.... 8-)
