- Hi all,
- I've got X11R4 running on a Sun 3/260. I can run X from the
- command line with 'startx' or 'xinit', but I can't get xdm to work
- from /etc/rc.local or the command line. I ran it several times with
- the -debug option, and it runs through the list of things in xdm-config,
- then says "WaitForSomething" and just hangs. I created all the necessary
- files (I think) according to the X Window System User's Guide from O'Reilly.
- Still no go. I checked the FAQ, and I don't see anything about this in
- it.
-
- Any ideas? Please reply via email. I'll post a summary if there is
- enough interest. With my luck, it's a FAQ somewhere and I'm going to
- catch some flamage.... 8-)
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
- Scott
