- a command panel using text and colour icons
-
- I have just placed a two new versions of the bricons package on
- export.lcs.mit.edu in the contrib directory. Both versions have been upgraded
- to display pixmaps (colour bitmaps) and use the xpm libraries written by
- Arnaud Le Hors.
-
- The two versions are:
-
- Athena widget version:
- /contrib/bricons-athena-3.0.tar.Z
-
- Motif1.1 widget version:
- /contrib/bricons-motif-3.0.tar.Z
-
- The bricons program allows the user to start up applications from a configured
- command panel on a workstation display running X. The bricons interface can
- consist of up to sixteen buttons which can display some text or an icon. Each
- button is used to execute a shell command using the Bourne shell. Each button
- can be configured to display a single spring loaded popup menu with up to ten
- more buttons.
-
- Please report any bugs to bri@ukc.ac.uk (until Jan 29th 1993)
