  13. I intend compiling X11R5 patchlevel 21 this weekend on a Sun 3/60. I have 
  14. gcc-2.3.3, I noticed that usually if I set HasGCC in site.def, then 
  15. the libraries and some other stuff are still built with cc. Gcc is used
  16. for the server code.
  17.  
  18. Why is this? Can I use this (later) version of gcc?
  19.  
  20. Also, if I need to interrupt the compile, do I have to do a make World
  21. again (& redo lots of stuff) or is a make everything ok?
  22.
