- Hi,
-
- I intend compiling X11R5 patchlevel 21 this weekend on a Sun 3/60. I have
- gcc-2.3.3, I noticed that usually if I set HasGCC in site.def, then
- the libraries and some other stuff are still built with cc. Gcc is used
- for the server code.
-
- Why is this? Can I use this (later) version of gcc?
-
- Also, if I need to interrupt the compile, do I have to do a make World
- again (& redo lots of stuff) or is a make everything ok?
-
- Any comments appreciated, (Email to .sig addresses preferred)
-
- Simon
