- Subject: reading in files
-
- Can anyone direct me on how to read in files and display them?
- I am just starting to learn about Xview and the only example
- I have found on reading in files is on pg. 478 of vol.7 (o`reilly).
- I have incorporated this code into my program, my program compiles
- just fine, but when I run the program, nothing happens. My window
- dosen't pop up with my panel buttons anymore. I looked at the
- tiny vol.7 that accompanies the larger vol. 7 (o'reilly) and it
- didn't seem to have too much more information on this, can anyone
- help I am stuck! I am used to dealing with Motif, where you
- have a file dialog selection box which makes things much more
- painless, but unfortuneately the place I am working dosen't support
- Motif. I would appreciate any help. 8-).
