- Once a proc is in the D state there is no way to kill it
- until it changes state. This proc is in Disk wait or other short-term wait.
- The priority of the proc is set so high that in doesn't receive signals and
- thus cannot be killed. The only way to get rid of such beasts that don't
- go away
- is to reboot the machine.
