- Hi there,
-
- I apologize if this's an FAQ.
-
- I've installed talk/ntalk/ctalk on our HP 9000/720 running HP-UX 8.07.
- I wonder if they're the same software.
-
- The compilation is completed but when I try to talk to someone on the
- system, the program hangs with message "[Checking for invitation on
- caller's machine]". Some of the READMEs state that the ntalkd daemon
- for remote user is needed. I would like to know how to make it work and
- where to get more information/document on this topic.
-
- Any help will be much appreciated.
-
- Thanks in advance.
-
- Regards,
-
