- Hi,
- I have setup HP laserjet IIIp on a Silicon
- Graphics workstation. It has been set up as geeneric
- postscript printer. The model it uses, gpsinterface,
- says that it is an interface for System 5, for printing
- postscript and regular text files. It also say it uses
- a filter called lptops for comverting non-postscript to
- postscript. This is all fine because I am able to print
- both postscript and text files using the "lp" command.
-
- However, I have set up lpr to satisfy my network
- printing needs. In this case I am only able to print
- only postscript files. When I send text files, I get an
- error on the printer and if Flushes. Is there something
- I am missing. A copy of my printcap entry follows
