- Is anyone out there running Dell's SVR4 on a Dell Dimension 486DX2/50
- system? My major concern is hearing of problems with memory access
- times on 50 Mhz systems, and finding out that the access time on the
- Dimension is around 80 ns (compared to the recommended 60 ns I've seen
- in the pc/unix buyer's guide and elsewhere).
-
- It's probably not an issue, as Dell supports their Unix on any Dell
- hardware; I'm just interested in any personal experiences with this
- sort of setup...
-
- Thanks,
- Chris
