  16. You're right, but not for the reasons you think. :-)  You can't get NIS+
  17. specs.

  19. OSF/1 meets XPG/4, ANSI, Posix standards; it's API is publically available,
  20. just like SVID.

  22. DCE is on the fast track to become an X/Open standard.  The only thing
  23. holding up its full specification (from OSF) is not enough writers .:-)

  25. Motif is working its way through some IEEE committee, as I recall.
