  15. I have a problem with my tape. When creating a backup with tar a verify fails.
  16. Tar tells me 'tar: Skipping to next file header' a few times and then stops
  17. with 
  18. an unexpected EOF.
  19.  
  20. I created a big tar image on disk and copied it with dd if=image of=/dev/rwt0.
  21. This can be read from tar. Cpio works correct, too.

  23. Has somebody a hint for this bug?
