  14. I have made several frustrating efforts to get a (line/screen-oriented, non
  15. X11 based) newsreader working under 386BSD.

  17. Today I abandoned another experiment with trn2.0. Alone running the Configure
  18. turned out to be a nightmare.

  20. I got inn running (I took it from ref.tfs.com). The version had been prepared
  21. obviously to compile under 386bsd but still had some quirks in the makefiles
  22. (lint related) BTW, where are the lint sources?

  24. But I don't yet have a working frontend to read news (beside xvnews, which works, fine - but as I said I need something I can use over the phone line).

  26. So if anyone could help with a port of one of these newreaders I'd be grateful once more.
