- Hi all
-
- I need to configure uucp over TCP/IP between two machines where the UUCP
- nodename of the destination machine is *not* the same as the TCP/IP
- nodename.
-
- I can do this very easily under SunOS. I simply configure
- /etc/uucp/Systems with an entry like so:
-
- crs4 Any TCP - crs4gw.crs4.it ogin: Umachine ssword: xxx
-
- The fifth field specifies the TCP/IP hostname associated with the UUCP
- destination.
-
- AIX 3.2 BNU does not recognise this syntax because it uses the fifth
- field for specifying a protocol (g,t,e). Any suggestions? I do not want
- to add "crs4" to /etc/hosts because that name is already taken by
- another machine.
-
- Thanks in advance.
