- I have several 220's with GT-3 adaptors in them. They're
- configured as diskfull machines. All of them were installed
- from the same "template" tape I had made. They've been
- running for several months now (3.2.2).
-
- The problem: When starting X on one of the machines, the
- colors are screwed up - that is blues are brownish, etc.
- I ran lscolor at the hft on the troublesome machine and
- the color table ordering is different than the others.
- The rgb.txt files on all of the machines are identical.
- The /usr/lpp/colormap files on all of the machines are
- identical.
-
- Info has descriptions on changing the colortable using
- chcolor (or smit), but...
-
- 1. I can't find a way to determine where/which colortable
- the system(s) are currently using?
-
- 2. Because of 1, I can't figure out what changes to make
- or where.
-
- 3. Info seems to indicate that changes users make to the
- table are temporary and reset on logout. I haven't
- found this to be the case. Changes don't seem to reset
- unless I reboot, and then they're back to their
- original screwed up state.
-
- Can anyone provide me with possible approaches to solving
- this problem?
-
- Thanks for any info.
