  14. I'm trying to program my CD-ROM driver to play music CDs.
  15. Do you know where I can find informations how to program
  16. it (info contains only a brief documentation)?
  17. Examples would be helpful.

  19. I already have the program called play (from Bruce Greer), but
  20. it uses the diagnostic mode (i.e., you need to be root or to set
  21. the suid to use it); I hope it is not the only way to program the 
  22. CD-ROM to play music CDs.

  24. As anybody tried to adapt the xcdplayer program (for Sun Sparcstation)
  25. for the IBM RS/6000 and AIX?
